I've never been fond of Canon's official C-Log 2 LUTs: they're too clinical for my taste. So I made these with a different approach: more natural skin tones, more organic color. Built and tested on R5 Mark II and R5 C, but they work on any C-Log 2 camera.
The goal was simple: a natural starting point that actually feels cinematic instead of technical. Whether you're shooting documentary, narrative, commercial or wedding work, these LUTs should save you time in the grade and give you a look that feels more film-like out of the gate.
Included are 9 C-log 2 to Rec709 conversion LUTs, meant to give you a great starting point for different kinds of footage:
C-log 2 WideDR (2 variations)
C-log 2 Natural (2 variations)
C-log 2 (2 variations)
C-log 2 Punchy
C-log 2 Warm
C-log 2 Cold
C-log 2 Teal & Orange
It also comes with a README on how to use the LUTs
The LUTs are compatible with any R-series camera that supports C-log 2, which are currently:
Canon R5 Mark II Canon R6 Mark III Canon R5 C (Interpret the footage as C-log 2 in Davinci Resolve)
They are also compatible with any of Canon's Cinema cameras, like:
